Our daycare center provides full time daycare for children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our facilities provide daycare services from 6:00am – 6:00pm filled with enjoyable activities and even fun field trips. Our center is a part of the Head Start program and is licensed by the state of Ohio. If you want to be assured that your child is in good hands, enroll into our daycare service.
We offer 5 classrooms to better serve our children at a different ages and stages of development. Below is information about our Infant or Kitten room and our Toddler or Tiger Cub room.
Our Infant / Kitten Room:
This classroom is designed for infants from the age of 6 weeks to 18 months old. The teacher to child ration is 1:4, 2:8, and 3:12. Each teacher is responsible for 3-4 children in their primary care group. This means that while all the teachers help care for your child’s needs, each teacher is able to focus on a small group of children. Teachers are aware of each child’s developmental needs.
A developmentally appropriate approach is given to the day-to-day needs of your child. Your child will be moved often so that they are not in one spot for too long. Your child will be held by our loving and nurturing teachers on a regular basis and be given one-to-one attention as much as possible. Napping and eating schedules are followed as given by the parents.
Assistance and encouragement are given to each child as they work towards the goals of:
- Development of fine and large motor skills
- Holding up their head
- Rolling over
- Sitting
- Crawling
- Walking
- Drinking from a cup
- Feeding themselves
- Recognizing body parts
- Speaking common phrases such as “Mom”, “Dad”, “no”, “up”, “yes”, “more”, “please”, and “thank you”

Our Toddler / Tiger Cubs Room:
- Our toddlers range in age from 18 months to 30 months (2 ½ years).
- The teacher to child ratio is 1:7 and 3:16. Each teacher has 3-5 children in their primary care group. This means that while all the teachers help care for your child’s needs, each teacher focuses on a small group of children. The teacher is able to learn about each child's developmental stage and teach to their unique developmental needs.
Our approach to child development:
- Children not only learn from each other but guide and teach one another. Teachers and children create a warm and enjoyable environment in which learning and skill development prospers.
