“After visiting several local child care centers and talking with many other parents of young children, we chose Eastminster Child's Play and Learning Center (ECPLC) because we felt like our children were actually part of a family there. The caregivers provided not just professional care and nurturing, but they all seem to genuinely love our kids. My daughter has since moved on to kindergarten, and she was well-prepared socially and excels academically, in part, due to the excellent multi-disciplinary curriculum at ECPLC. "Both of my children have been attending ECPLC since they were 8 weeks old. My daughter is now 4 and my son is 2 1/2. The care, education, and creative stimulation exceeds all expectations. Daily they learn something or mention something that impresses me or warms my heart. The way my daughter talks about her teacher, you can tell she truly loves you. Her teacher is respectful of all of the children. Last week, when I walked up to the door to pick them up I noticed on the sidewalk a couple of chalk drawings. When I got closer I realized one was of my daughter. She was so excited to tell me that her teacher drew her. It boosted her self esteem. You can see the joy in my daughters face every time she sees her teacher. "
"My son when he was about 1 was quite reserved and often cried at the sight of a new person, parent, caregiver and over the past year and a half has really grown to enjoy friends and adults. He was the first child to scream at the top of his lungs, "SANTA!!!!" at the ECPLC Holiday party and ran up to him. His self esteem is nurtured daily. His primary caregiver, Ms. Dana, is wonderful with him. She encourages him to explore, is really playful with him and just cares about his well-being."

“My daughter has been attending Eastminster Childs Play Learning Center since she was 18 months old. I didn’t know much about Eastminster CPLC; I found them on-line through the Franklin County Job and Family Services website. I was looking for a facility that was close to home, which had spacious rooms and play areas, and where the teachers/directors were friendly and helpful. I had looked at a lot of different daycare centers and none of them compared to what I saw at Eastminster. The facility was very well organized, very clean, the rooms were spacious and the play area outside was a nice size and not too close to the main street. I am glad that I made the choice to have my daughter attend Eastminster CPLC. The teachers/directors are very helpful, caring, loving…just wonderful! I have a good open relationship with my daughter’s teachers. They know they can call me anytime for any reason in regards to my daughter, and I feel that I can talk to them about anything; they make me feel comfortable. From the first day that my daughter started at Eastminster CPLC, I have always had a good feeling about leaving my daughter in their care. This was my first child, so I was new to all this, and a little hesitant and nervous, but the teachers/directors made me feel comfortable and at ease. They assured me that she would be fine…I know my daughter is taken care of very well, I know she is safe and I know the teachers and directors will make sure she is protected at any given time. My daughter is 3 years old now, and is enrolled in their Head Start Program. I am glad that Eastminster CPLC is a Head Start partner, she has learned so much, her vocabulary is picked up so well, she is doing things a 5 year old can do. I appreciate everything Eastminster CPLC has done for me and my daughter and I am glad I decided to have my daughter attend their facility.”
